Film Music
Cameron has always had a strong interest in film music, appreciating how a well-crafted score can elevate a movie's impact. This curiosity grew into a more focused exploration during his studies, where he began working on composing and producing his own scores.
In 2022, Cameron took on the challenge of creating an original film score for a scene in "Jurassic World: A Fallen Kingdom" as a part of his GCSE coursework. The task was to capture the essence of the film, its sense of adventure and awe, while bringing his own perspective to the music. He approached the project with a blend of respect for the original score by the legendary John Williams and a desire to infuse it with something fresh and modern.

The final score earned 119 out of 120 marks, placing him at the top of his class, resulting in his eventual A*/A+ for the entire course. But more than the grade, it was the process that Cameron found most rewarding. After completing the project, he gave a talk to fellow students, breaking down his approach, the technical aspects of the production, and the inspiration behind his work. The experience reinforced his interest in film scoring, and he’s looking forward to taking on similar challenges in the future.
